Sixty-two miles; Jinki/Taemin; PG-13
note: Meant to mostly write this as the way Taemin experiences things; somehow moved away from that more than I expected in this portion of the story.

I try. I mean I'm still working with pretty archetypal characters and using very standard plot progression, but I try to pick some of the simpler/slightly understated moments. And I definitely try to be scientifically and medically correct, haha, so that people who know better don't have to suspend their disbelief. (Health professional! Cool :'D) Stuff like the portrayal of coma patients is already done poorly enough in popular media.
I don't know what people will think of how I approach the rest of what happens, but I promise I won't deus ex machina my way out of the problem that Jinki's facing (and Taemin in part as well). I can see it now! His long lost uncle shows up and he's a billionaire so he takes care of everything lol no. There are easy ways to get out of such a predicament and then there are the little things that could possibly go a long way.
The little things. That reminds me that I have a sequel to an Onho story that I said I'd write half a year ago but never did...

But yes, Taemin has lent out both a shoulder and a hand~ Once I'm done (maybe a few months from now, given the snail-like pace at which I've been updating), I think I'm gonna go back and count how many times I used the word 'okay'/'fine'. And 'hand'/'finger'/'fingertips' too. xD
