I can only tell you my side of the story

I can only tell you my side of the story; lame crap that I write in single sittings
note: the first is a conversation from the «what forever feels like» universe, but the setting had no elevator until I read « while locking his door». (the two are completely different stories though.) the second is a rough excerpt from «I saw the sky painted in your ( Read more... )

your writing is fucking beautiful
i love this style. short verse, basic syntax, all emotion. it's lyrical and powerful and not a lot of people can pull it off. you totally just did. my favourite was the onkey but not because i'm biased although i might be.

i'll definitely be reading more of your work.

hi :') ...you are key-biased?

and you flatter me! i'm very glad you think so. my writing aesthetic has changed in the time that I've spent writing fics and yup, currently working toward simple sentences and basic vocabulary. my older works are more convoluted though, so i have half a mind to tackle you to the ground and not let you read them. /hides face

um, most of my recent entries -- my onho/minkey longfic and my wartime!AU jongkey oneshot -- are locked. in case you're interested in that stuff (and don't mind making a new friend), let me know, haha.

yeh i'm a locket ♥ i ship everyone with key but my otps are onkey and keyjong

i'm actually an english major and a literature enthusiast, so i appreciate a wide variety of styles. i'm sure that i'll like your other work just as much if not more, especially since my own work tends to be very convoluted. but it definitely says something for your skill if you can be proficient in both simple techniques and more complex ones.

actually i do want to read them! especially that wartime!AU because that's one of my fave themes.

you're really cute ha ♥

We outgrow love like other things

your comment on the drabble has a higher word count than the drabble itself. ♥

Maybe don’t have “out loud” and “inside his head” right next to each other in the sentence. - fixed!

Is Jinki saying I had to tell you “I love you” to tell you “I loved you” or... - yes, it's this former case.

This is not a love song

I wrote the paragraph that you quoted because it hit me one day how to describe the youthful innocence that I wanted to convey about the characters. (indeed, for contrast.) it aches. it ached to write it and it aches to think about it. but that innocence is such a precious thing.

"clean" is the key word. this excerpt came out of a wartime!AU story that I disassembled into separate cuts because I thought I honestly would never get around to completing the thing. you can see the "dirty" in my jongkey oneshot, when you get there.

Death is another country

this thing started out as an attempt to write a story entirely with euphemisms. and then it grew into something that can be taken in other ways too. hospital or mental institute, blind or crazy, whether the jinki in this story is even real-I'm undecided, really.

thank you for the corrections!
