so are you all done with your christmas shopping? i play it smart every year and make it a point to finish in november. then i procrastinate all december about wrapping them, haha. i just went to wal-mart to get some rolls of giftwrap, and they were on clearance, sweet. the designs are kind of ugly though, pastel snowmen and penguins... oh well,

torrents are definitely GRRRRRRREAT... you need to find a good client & tracker though before your computer can DL them. I went for ABC as the client since it's fast, problem free & didn't give me a headache when I tried to figure out how it worked ^^; & i surf the MM tracker when i need a jrock fix. If you wanna understand the whole process go here or here... those sites say it better than i can ^__^

Ah so you your going into the world of mass piracy? lol
I use eMule. I found that to be best for myself when downloading. Although, if you're downloading films/series, they can take time unless people are willing to share them. But if you have a cable line just leave it on for a few days and it will be done. If you want to try eMule, tell me, because alot of it works by a 'rating system'. The better your rating, the more you can download quickly.

yeah i felt bad for my roomie, he paid for express shipping on some stuff and some things didn't arrive in time. pays to think ahead though.

yep, i'm jumping the bandwagon. ;-) i end up buying the cds anyway, but i wanna see stuff that hasn't hit shelves yet. and emule's rating system - is it something like kazaa's? a friend of mine keeps telling me to download this korean flick "dollmaster" off emule.

I can barely remember how KaZaa works. All I remember is it was pretty rubbish to be honest. KaZaa only gets bad mouthed because it's filled with so many viruses. It probably does work the same way, the more you share with people, the faster the download rate.
Ah 'Dollmaster'. A film with so much mixed reviews. It's not bad, but, it's not the best, thats about all I can say as the time when I watched it, I was very, very very tiered since I hadn't slept for about 25 hours lol.
Same here, once I download a film/music etc I buy the DVD/CD asap. I like to have my originals.

damn, lj didn't post my comment. anyway, i said your icon rocked, and that the same thing happened to me two years ago, and i was mortified when they found out i hadn't told them about the gift time two. i think buying gifts for guys is harder in general.
