:D That was so awesome, anon-san! I loved how you didn't make them too lovey-dovey, and yet still made it sweet (and for some reason I just loved Ryou's "I think I hate you a little bit.")
I know I'm getting to this comment super-late but I just wanted to say thank you, and I'm glad the fic seemed to work out! I love making fun of Twlight. >.> Anyhow, belated Merry Christmas to you and just... thanks for leaving a kind review. ♥
I loved the simplicity and naturality of the setting. Very Rokkaku, too, in all aspects. I am not sure Bane would hit Itsuki, though. OK, maybe Twilight would do that to even Bane-san's temper. It was the right choice of movie, very timely, and the jokes on it were just in the right doses.
I don't think it is easy to portray Ryou, as we have seen so little of him in action, but leaving him a neutral kind of teenager just following ahead with surprise, honesty and instinct was a very good choice IMHO. I loved how Saeki took the initiative from the pre-beginning (I suspect arrangement with Bane-san on the matter, since he owes him his ticket at least :D) and how he played Ryou into his professional predator's hands.
It feels refreshing and so right when they sound and act like the teenagers they are without further complications. And I enjoyed the whole scenario so much I have read it a couple of times already. Thank you for such a lovely Rokkaku fic!
I know my reply to this is late, but you left me such an encouraging comment and I hate leaving reviews un-replied to, so...
Thanks for pointing out the things you did - I know I probably took a few liberties. It's been a while since I've watched the entirety of the series, plus like you said, there isn't a whole lot on Ryou. And my Saeki characterisation was definitely coloured by an RP version I liked. But it ended up being fun to write, so I hope or was glad that it seemed to be entertaining. :)
Ahahahah--this is a pairing I have never read before, so it was interesting to read your take on them, author-san! The Twilight jibes were very cute and Saeki was deliciously sneaky. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
