The generation I am in, is in big trouble. Maybe it is just the age thatI am at now or something but, it seems that no one is interested in current events. I can't keep a converstation up about the hurricane, and can't discuss stuff. Hell they don't even want to hear about fundraisers that are going to help other people who are in need of it. The

the hurricane i havent kept up on, but i agree. no one cares about whats going on in our world today. like i told Alciia, if she wants to be an on air DJ for talk radio current events are the most important thing to keep up on.

I try to keep up with all of my current events, I mean I have to especially with the degree i'm going in and everything. But yeah I listen to the radio and I hear the DJ talking about the hurricane all the time. It just disgusts me that people have no respect for others and all they care about is themself. I've already collected 300 bucks to send to the red cross. People seem to only care if it collides directly with them, which in most cases it will, but not for a while! Finally, someone else who's intellegent!

i only had a dollar but i donated it at sams club when i applied for ajob today. I recently drove by a hurricane donation center, it was packed with lots of different stuff, i believe if people knew whats really going on theyde care a lot more. they feel like its just another hurricane, but the fact is it destroyed whole cities.
