i have for sure joined the masses of college students who are hopelessly neurotic over the last minute, end of semester rush. i am happy to report that i have just one pending final to fail and then i am done for a month. today, i kicked my mandatory oral presentation in anthro out of the way, and let me just say it was an experience. there is ( Read more... )

I CONCUR and very much so. I am almost having a heart atatck every time I have to speak in public. Heck, I even get nervous when I have to ask something in the shop, that's how sad I am :-P I definitely have a phobia of people, heh. I still have my BA thesis and pedagogical paper to defend, and i do not know if I will survive these two ordeals. So pray for me, lol.

do you at least reach a point where you become calm after talking for a while? about 2/3 into my speech i was fine, but too bad i had spent all the time prior royally fucking up my rhythm lmao. practice makes it easier sometimes, when do you have to defend your papers?

yup, definitely hate speaking infront of the class...i get panic attacks too. Oh god, ESPECIALLY when i have to talk in spanish!! *cries*
