Ryan, I'm so glad to read this. it sounds like you are doing well.

The way you described the near-perfection here captured my emotion. I feel this so often, and it's fascinating and gratifying, but also painful. (life!) The older I get, the harder music feels. Of course that's partly because I'm much more aware and self-critical than I once was, and partly because I'm getting O-L-D. And I'm sure there are lots of other reasons too.
