You can't have faith in something that you already know to be true. This definitely sounds like Sanzo! I like this ficlet. :3

I really enjoy reading fics about Sanzo that go deeper into his character.

I think people have a tendency to forget how skilled and intelligent and insightful he can be, since he usually buries it behind his gun and underneath lots of snark.

I liked seeing these aspects of him through your eyes. :)

So many people seem to like Sanzo for the superficial stuff, but... it's really the deeper things that make him fascinating to me. I'm glad to see that someone agrees.
