My fear of japan is almost suffocating. and the excitement hasn't yet won out. I don't know what I'm doing.
I don't have my visa, and i don't know my kanji. I feel like a waste of space.

O Dao. I'm sure you will be fine. I cried to my dad last night because of London and how I don't know how to use public transportation. I think I might get lost in London and end up in Bulgaria. dont worry about your kanji. you'll have tons of time in japan to learn kanji.
your visa will come. worrying wont make it come faster.
and japan is going to be fucking amazing. i promise. you just have to get past the nervousness and the initial culture shock and then your head will explode from excitement. mine certainly has.
so relax and enjoy your last couple weeks in the us. and eat lots of your mom's food. and dont worry so much. if you give yourself an ulcer it'll explode and get all pussy on the plane and that will be gross.
