Today was lovely. Went early to SOS with Melly. The rain prevented us from gardening so we helped the German guys keep the kids in line in the art room. We helped them paint sticks for Mikado, which I at least grew up calling "pick-up sticks." Chaos ensued. It was a lot of fun. Spent day in sun, readying fields for planting, clearing rocks and garbage mostly. Tomorrow will meet people from a permaculture organization to help get composting happening and figure out the best sustainable options.
