they're finally here :D  after like a year hiatus from icon'ng, my muse returned...  the only exception was a wallpaper i made for aurora_0811 's bday last august which was a sudden inspiration driven largely by the images she supplied me with.  It took me a while to feel ok with posting it for everyone but i know you bamber lovahs will appreciate it ;)

See, my big focus was refining my coloring skillz.. and tried to minimize texture use. I wanna get more fancy pants but figured starting out slow would be best.

Oooo! Your colors are so vibrant and full of life! I love them. 6 is stunning. 13 and 14 are both gorgeous. The raw emotion in 34 guts me. All the stock photos are beautiful. The simplicity of that K/L background is fabulous. In fact, I'm going to grab that one...

that k/l wp was hard.. and came out emo even though i didn't mean it to. i think it's my memorial & has made it possible not to feel so horribly sad when i reflect on them. ♥

Woo!!! All of these are absolutely fabulous, my dear--sooo excited your muse has returned! Snagging the JB and pilots wallpapers of course (so gleeful about both of these--might have to use one at work and one at home!), and also a couple of the stock icons since I don't have any of those (#s 50, 51, 55, and 57 are my faves).

So have you seen The Runaways, then? I want to but haven't yet.

dude, go see The Runaways! SUCH GOOD TIMES! I'm still tripping out over grown-up Dakota but she rocked it. So did Kristen Stewart. The music alone makes the movie worthwhile.. and oh yeah - Michael Shannon is a RIOT. Lemme know if you go see it *g*

I really liked Dakota Fanning in "Push," though yeah, it's so weird how grown up she's getting! I mean, she's still pretty young, but she's turning into a great actress. I'll def. let you know. Think the first thing I need to see is Clash of the Titans. Even though I am quite sad that Apollo is played by an Orlando Bloom look-alike. That is just wrong to me!

I think it was edgy to cast Dakota at the age that Cherie Curry was when she joined The Runaways. It ads an authentic edge.. esp since hollywood seems like to cast 20somethings in teenage roles and that's what ppl are used to seeing. there's a scene towards the end where she kind of killed me :/

I'll have to catch up with you on CotT since I wont' get to it this weekend :D
BSG has ruined all future Apollo's, lol. I read a book series where the God Apollo plays an important role and he's AWFUL - terrible creature. NOT COOL dammit!
