Who wants to bet me being bankrupt by the end of June. Great odds. Fuckign work won't give me any more hours. I have 18. I'm full time. Wtf is going on here? Fucking managers have shed loads, it's not fair, they should get theirs cut as well. Been to the job centre which was a waste of time. There is fuck all. Everyone wants all this fucking

my dad still says wash the abscess in a bleach solution (same you'd use for washing dishes/cleaning surfaces), pack it with savlon, put a dressing and bandage on and wrap it with tape to keep the bandage on. Change it every day.

He says its even better if you can convince the vet to put them on an antibiotic which will stop a secondary infection occuring and causing problems.

He says the vet might need to drain it through the sole of the hoof (but I think you've had this done?) - but after that's done, just keep going with dressings/savlon until its better, it does work, we dealt with probably hundreds of abscesses over the years with 2 sick ponies.

Just realised its not burst yet - put a hot poultice over the abscess where you can see it, do that daily until it bursts, then do the above, putting the savlon into the burst abscess.
