Another 4a.m. wake-up for Mac. He came in pretty well wiped out, only to tell me he's doing yet another double tomorrow!  What the heck is he trying to do, kill himself????  Apparently, this lastest double came up last minute and he grabbed it. Called Marti to inform her about Social Security. She in turn told me she'd checked in to BVR (Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation) concerning handcontrols for me. According to her, they have a program that you can go through and not lose your SSI while you are working in a temporary capacity, and they can also help you get handcontrols to drive ( Read more... )
