Um, did anyone notice this in the crossword tournament program?

Awards Lunch. A surprise Food Network chef will be preparing this year's buffet menu, with a special, playful variety of dishes.

Now I'm wondering if the lunch would actually be worth the price this year...

Is anyone doing Dinner: Impossible these days? Or could it be a Bobby Flay Throwdown? I wonder if Alton Brown does crosswords?

I suspect it will feature crosswordy dishes like oats and pasta and tuna. I will be skipping it, and will be happy to lead any companions to a buffet at Whole Foods or a dim sum lunch, all just a few subway stops away, quickly served and eaten, and much cheaper and tastier than the official meal.
