I just saw a French troupe create a human mobile, lifted high by a crane. At the top of the apparatus was a large metal circle, a young woman acrobat seated in the center. Her performance was hold-your-breath strong. But, but her flexibility was stunning. In a back bend, she could rest her foot on her head. She created the most amazing contortions

Did you ask her? For arts sake, perchance she would have enjoyed the kink of it all. And had some pictures of herself hanging on her walls.

Because of the height the performers were lifted, a huge area was cordoned off. Between that and the crush of spectators it just wasn't possible. Or perhaps it might have been if only I'd moved from my fantasy world into one of potential reality
