i lost my hat you made me in the move. sigh. i loved that hat. i feel so bad about it, especially when i see these pictures. maybe i can commission a new one? it will not replace the original one, though.

Oh, no! I'm so sorry you lost it. :( You can certainly commission another, although it won't be as much fun to make without you here. I've just discovered that the yarns I use for the tortie hats have been discontinued(!), so I'll set some aside for you.

You know, that's an interesting comment about wearing it around town. Here in Los Angeles, I don't think most people would find it odd, given the high level of costumey elements to people's clothing.
