I went down to Charleston this weekend to interview with Blackbaud Inc. They are an organization that produces software solutions for nonprofit organizations. They have approximately 1000 employees and are continually growing. They have about 600 employees in Charleston, many in other countries, and some that work from home (sales people). Love ya too, and it was my pleasure! :) I think we made great use of our time. I like that two part dinner. Entree, appetizer, then dessert...sweet!

That's cool about the job interview. Sounds like a great company. I've heard that programmers start in Support too. But it's a foot in the door and you're smart so you'll probably move up fast. Good luck on the Lowe's interview too.

You don't know me, and as weird as it sounds, I came across your blog though a Google Finance search of Blackbaud. Scary huh?

Anyway, I have applied to Blackbaud myself! I just submitted my application this weekend, so it is still early. I hope you are willing to answer a few procedural questions :-) How long did you have to wait before they contacted you? Did they do a phone interview with you before you flew down?
