Oh, this is heartbreaking. ;-; Makes me wonder how much harder it had to be on Rose, seeing the Doctor like that, after she'd already had to see her father die in front of her twice. Eesh. *hugs Rose*

That's exactly what I thought. In TSE the last time she held somebody like that was when she'd held her dads hand as he died. OUCH. No wonder she freaked out and started begging Ten not to die :(

I love little callback moments like those. I love them even more when I don't see them until the third-ish time I watch the episode(s) in question....or someone else tells me about them ;)
