Writer's Block: Environmental Confession

Well considering I've tried to do everything I can do to help save the environment: reusable plastic bags, digging in dumpsters to "rescue" items that could be recycled, and other stuff I can't really think of anything else I can do to help. Maybe living. I think just using electricity too much is what I should be ashamed of.

Hah, I don't know about dumpster-diving to "rescue" recyclable stuff, but I have picked up trash off the side of the road. Like, seriously, made my dad stop the car and load his truck up full of trash that we saw on the side of the road. lmao.

My only downfall is electricity consumption--my TV, radio, and computer are usually all going at the same time, although I don't use overhead lights much anymore. And PLASTIC BAGS! GAH! I freakin' hate 'em, but I can't seem to get rid of 'em. lol.

Man, In my area they chase you for dumpster diving. It's like a covert sport when the local college lets out. People making claims to the trash and others diving for treasures under the cover of night. I haven't been though. Too high stakes and scary. I have helped rescue some furniture on the side of the road with my old roommate though. It was fun.

Good on you for your eco friendliness!
