GEEK, actually, but thanks for noticing. :)

See, I have this theory. It starts with the DORK, who is a crazy nut about something, but doesn't know much about it nor can they relate to society. Then comes the NERD, who is crazy about something, knows *everything* about it to all depths, but still is too much a moron about it to properly interface with society. And then comes the GEEK, who is nuts about something (say LOTR or Star Wars, etc.), knows *everything* about it to incredible depth, and yet is able to blend into society as a normal, functional human should - just a little more eclectic than the next fella.

That's my DORK - NERD - GEEK theory. I'm going to write a book someday.
