I haven't had a "normal" week in over a month. I took on the task of babysitting my nieces a couple of days a week. This requires very early mornings to accommodate their schedule. I'm can't complain, because I'm making around $200 more per month than we had before... but it does throw me off a little ( Read more... )

I don't know if I was one of the people you were talking about but I think this may be great for Marc. :) Thank you for sharing.

Hahaha, this is neat. I don't think I'll be able to do much but hey, this is so much better than doing transcriptions on mturk. >_>

You are supposed to receive an invite? How long? Marc signed up yesterday and hasn't received anything.

COTTON. *___* Though, I thought my mother said that most white cats with blue eyes were blind? :X

I haven't heard anything about them being blind, but I read that 9 out of 10 white cats with blue eyes are deaf. I'm still trying to figure out whether Cotton can hear me or not. He doesn't respond to loud noises like he should, but there are times when he seems to understand that I'm speaking to him, so... I don't know. ;_;

Uwaa, I meant deaf, yes. :D;; Sorry, I know not what I speak of.

Hey, I think I'll sign up for the chacha thing. Is it still going well for you?

I wouldn't recommend it anymore. They have changed the pay scale so that you get paid according to your quality score. In order to make top guide and earn 0.20 per query, you have to answer 300 questions per week with an accuracy score of 95% and up. It's not too bad, but if you don't make the quota, your pay gets docked to 0.10 per query, which just isn't worth it. At all.

ChaCha is basically tossing their part-timers out in the process, which is very sad. I've made $400 so far and will probably keep doing it since I make top guide consistently, but if I ever drop down to 0.10 per query, I'm done.

Best of luck to you with paying down your debt! I'll be rooting for you.

I'm thinking about signing up, too. I could use some extra cash while I'm in school. I totally say you referred me if I do. :)

Cool. Disregard the comment I made above. ChaCha just changed the quota to 200 per week with an accuracy score of 95% and up. That's about 40 queries, or $8, a day if you only do it 5 days per week, so it's not bad at all. If you do sign up, just enter my email into the referral box. It's: bethanydavis@gmail.com
