Attempt number three at making truffles has failed miserably.

Six of my Loyola classes transfered which means I only have ten classes to take over three terms. And only six of those classes are full 7.5 credit classes!

At 3:58 this afternoon, the Denver Museum, once again, had a power outage. I was sitting at my Will Call desk talking to patrons when my screen went black. I thought "oh shit, not again. Maybe its just our computers." Sadly, it wasn't. The Museum was evacuated, again, and we began the same procedures as yesterday. This time though, security ( Read more... )

Today at 12:20pm, the transformer in the main fuse box of the Denver Museum blew. The result was a very dark museum and about 2000 confused/angry patrons who were promptly evacuated from the museum into the 100 degree heat outside. About 80% of the patrons left, content to get their tickets exchanged or refunded at a later date. Some asked why ( Read more... )

I paid my tuition today.

My Hepatitis B problem has been sorted out.

I'm all set to enroll for school in September.

I have never been happy to start school before. I really can't wait. I have set the bar so high for myself that I won't settle for anything less. Culinary world, here I come.

There is nothing more immasculating then a man carrying a chihuahua in a leopard print dog carrier that looked suspiciously like a purse. And yes, he was carrying it over his shoulder like it WAS a purse.

So my financial aid is covering all but $3,100 of my tuition costs for this year. I don't qualify for a private loan by myself because I make too little, Sam doesn't qualify as a cosigner because he makes too little (cosigners have to make a minimum of $22,000 a year).
