after not seeing each other for 2weeks, I picked my boyfriend up at the airport at midnight yesterday.  It had been a long day, I had to wake up early to pick up my cat from boarding who was so terrified he peed in the carrier.  So he had to have a bath when I got him home.  Then I went to work all day where I found out we're supposed to get snow

You should read Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon. The author is a bastard sometimes, but you'll have that. He gets it right more often than not.
