[Likely sometime before his jaunt to the clothing store, after spending an oddly frustrated day trying to figure out what to do in her situation, Raine is in the forest near the stream, having an almost stare off with the "cloak" that is laying in a small folded bundle on the bank. An "almost" one because she's finally come to the realization that she really can't be off without it, and this experiment only does last a week. Might as well just accept the circumstances, no matter how frustrating.]
[Michael was making his way along the bank, following a fish as it swam slowly downstream to the lake, when he saw Raine and... something else sitting on the bank by her. He couldn't quite make out the shape for the grass surrounding it, but he was certain it smelled...
Interesting. Slowly and carefully, he closed the distance between himself and the bundle in something halfway between a cat's stalk and a soldier's belly crawl. And after a few silent, still moments to judge the distance, he explodes from the grass behind Raine, landing in a roll on top of the bundle.]
[That interruption from her thoughts was not what she expected, and she lifts her head up in something akin to alarm once she realizes just what he's landed on top of. Mixed and confused emotions regarding it was one thing, but the idea of someone else getting a hold of it--]

[Well, at least Michael doesn't seem to be paying much attention to the statue for now. He's more preoccupied with the people that can move, like all the others milling around in the plaza.]

[ Which is good for Liz, if alternately bad for Michael. A pigeon every so often takes it on task to stare her down, but the most recent one just blinked.
Grating stone is about the only announcement that one stone statue of an angel has displaced itself from the back of the roof to about midway along its side. For all intents and purposes, Liz seems to be peering off into the distance, one hand help up immobilized at her forehead, shading eyes that aren't open to see a thing.
[There's a set of cat ears aimed straight at Emil like twin radar dishes. He might recognize who they're attached to- and if he's got any squirrely instincts, he might want to look behind him.]
[Sadly, squirrely instincts are still somewhat lacking at the moment, and he doesn't even notice the rather familiar feline-esque form creeping up on him. He's too busy trying to get that door open.]

After examining Liz from a distance, Michael will begin to circle her slowly, coming a little bit closer each time until he finally reaches out-
-and touches her raised arm.]
