We were late. Again.

My brother's sudden stomach trouble had hindered us from leaving on time, and now we were walking into the church service late.  As I entered the church hall behind my brother, my heart sank to see that the only empty spaces in the pews were directly at the front.

As my brother filled up the card, Michael continued, looking inquiringly at the two of us, "So.. yal are .. staying together? Almost married?"

LOL...that's a good one. Y'all should've replied, "We're staying together, of course!" ;-)

I gave a little scream and a few small jumps of delight to see... my missing birthday watch!
Hehe. I knew he'd found a watch, I thought he and Amber had just picked it up, though. :D Coolness...

LOL, oh, you know, I had the same thing happen to me at a car dealership. I was browsing cars with my mother, and one of the salesmen said to me as she was out in the car, "Well, you should definitely talk to you wife, of course..."

I just went about my business, but inside, I was...dumbfounded. I couldn't be sure whether to take offense or let my mother have the compliment or what!

So were you actually new in church or they had just never really seen you before? I dislike sitting in the front row too. *laughs* that has happened to me before. Actually someone thought that I and my oldest brother (who is only 17 mos younger than I) were boyfriend/girlfriend.
Glad your watch was found . . . ah brothers! ;)
