So I'm on spring break. Not in the way of whipped-cream-bikini contests, or even in the way where it's actually spring, but in the way where i have some time to sleep and read and draw and go to the Contemporary Art Museum. My lips are chapped&peeling and my fingernails are almost constantly a deadish purple color and the bottoms of all my jeans

my spring break sounds similar...the whole chapped lips and the snow. i am also enjoying time off just to be able to read and write and be lazy.

you write so fucking amazingly. you should try writing, sometimes, fictionlike. gods. i know i have to right to be, but i read this and feel so fucking proud of you. my friends saw the the picture you drew for me (tania, josh, marcella, maryse) and were utterly blown-away when i said you'd done it. they were super-impressed. i want you to come to my apartment and visit me, and i'll force myself to go outside with you and do exciting things or something.

in high school, i also failed tests and doodled on my homework. a teacher once showed dad how i got a 30 out of 100 on a test and covered it with hearts and flowers. dad laughed. i remember nothing from my geography or history classes because i wrote stories in my notebooks and talked to people all class. its so embarrasing now, people say to me didn't you learn about this in history? how do you not know where this place is? etc and i have nothing to respond. no, i was too busy writing stories about my friends and i taking over the school? sorry my head was full of girl-
