I have returned after a long and sudden disappearance. Something came up, someone desired my presence, and they would not take no for an answer. Lacerations, bruises, and swollen joins from displaced limbs are proof enough of that ( Read more... )

Are you okay? Do you need me to come over to care for your injuries?

You have no idea how how relieved I am to hear from you...

That would be helpful. I can't seem to get my left shoulder to pop right again. If I wasn't so well trained in hiding even the most base of my instinctual bodily functions, I would be writhing and crying in pain. It's terrible.

I am terribly sorry for having worried you. You and Zexion both.

... can I ask something of you?

I'll be over there soon then. See what I can do with that shoulder of yours. You're hurt, you're allowed to cry and act like you're in pain...

Something of me...? What is it?

I have neighbors adjacent to me. I have pulled enough people into this, I don't want to pull innocents into it as well. I'd rather just ignore it the best I can.

... if I disappear again, I will not be returning. Would you please watch over Zexion? He has far more potential than he admits for himself, but still he is a little one and there have been many instances where he would have been seriously hurt had I not been there to tower over him and look frightening when he wasn't looking.

Would you like me to bring you something for the pain? I have things that might work a bit better than the things that pass for medicine around here.

If you are not busy, that would be more than pleasant. But do not bother if you have something else you could be doing. A friend is here, mending what he can. Another old acquaintance is on his way.

Anything to dull the sting of needles and thread is welcome, though.

I can only imagine what's passing for pain relief with those who you are there with. I'll bring some herbs, they usually work better than any man-made medication.

Fortunately, they both know a thing or two about modern medicine and I am relatively numb. However, such modern medicines are greatly limited in the amount you can take at one particular time, and the one-eyed one risks his job by giving out such strong pills.

I much prefer natural alternatives. Less harsh on the body, and The Great Spirit works wonders through leaves and twigs of the earth. Thank you.
