It was so unfair to us to leave them there, even though I KNEW they would escape.

Yeah. They should have had just one more final episode to not leave it on a cliffhanger like that.

Exactly - even if it didn't really resolve the issues with the Transuranics, it would be nice to have not left them hanging there.

I would definitely ask Rebelcolor's same exact question. How on earth was it supposed to really end?

I also agree that probably Hammond didn't have a clue on how he wanted the series to end, so there's no way we will find out. :-(((
