I remain interested in the fandom, though I look in on LJ only semi-regularly.

Forgive my ignorance -- what is the issue with the existing comm and the 'mod queue'?

If you want to post anything with a link here, the owner has it set up so that the post has to be approved - no idea why she set it up that way, but she is the only one who can empty the queue. She hasn't posted anything since 2009 and repeated attempts to contact her have gone unheeded.

We also can't add any new tags, photos, videos, or anything else. It's a frustration to me and wondered if it might not be time for something a bit more open.
