Petunia had excused her equally odious son, and he was clamouring up the stairs when Dursley returned to the house.
Narcissa subtly drew her wand and took advantage of Petunia’s distraction
The whale’s padding did less to mute his fall than one would expect, she thought as she followed the frantic mother into the hall.
"My, that does look serious." The brat and his mother wailed louder, and Dursley narrowed his eyes at the Boy.
"I can take Harry, if you’d like, while you take Dudley to the hospital."
Tearfully, Petunia thanked her and took her up on her offer.

Vernon had just entered the house -- hadn't even replied to Petunia's greeting -- when his son's energetic run up the stairs became an uncontrolled free-fall. Petunia was quick to console and to diagnose a fracture.
The Freak was there, too, in the sitting room -- no doubt responsible. His jealous and malicious nature had forced Dudley to defend himself more than once. Just like the Boy to resort to sneak tactics.
That frigid new friend of Pet's was also present, and her husband was a potentially lucrative business contact, so he'd give the good-for-nothing freeloader the punishment he deserved later.
With interest.
