"I feel like I'm being prepared for menopause decades too early."
Amen to that. I feel the same. I have PCOS and well. My hormones refuse to cooperate very well! Been a lot better recently though since I lost weight. Anyhow. I'm boring you! lol.
You definately definately have my sympathy! xxxxxxxxx
i've read about PCOS a bit on the internet, but not much. i know what the letters stand for but don't really know too much about it. what's it like having it? when did you find out you had it?
I found out when I was about 19 or 20 even. I found out because my periods became really irragular, I started growing random hairs on my breast and chin, my hair was also coming out more than usual - oh and I had dandruff. I put it down to me starting Uni that year and my radical change in diet. I put on about 4 stone! Mum made me go the docs and I got diagnosed after blood tests and intravaginal scans etc. I stopped my treatment about a year after though as my gynocologist is a wanker. Living with it isnt that hard after u get use to shaving/waxing and using head and shoulders shampoo. My hair growth is immense! Anyways I'm rambling as usual. The worse part of having this is the increased chance of miscarrage and decreased fertility etc. None of this bothered me much until recently, not that it really bothers me now. But now, I know I do want children. Before - i was never bothered xxx
