A new Great Big Sea album, Safe Upon the Shore, to be released this summer! They previewed three songs on their website, I place here for your listening pleasure. If you've never heard of them, check them out! They're a great folk-rock band from Newfoundland, Canada.

I decided I would make some bath salts today. I think I'm going to package them up nicely and give them away like a 'goody bag' for my upcoming girls night.

I bought the June 2010 edition of Canadian Living magazine while I was shopping with my Mom today and was flipping through and found a recipe for homemade tzatziki, so we decided to have Greek for dinner! Because the only size option for the yogurt was a large container I decided to make a smoothie as well.

It's a good think Joy is not allergic to nuts/peanuts, because that is really all that I have made with success.

I attempted to make Gluten-free Snickerdoodles but they failed miserably. They weren't very tasty, they baked oddly (looked like overcooked pancakes) and in general didn't work. This might be because I didn't have the same brand of ( Read more... )

My friend Joy is going on a bike trip, leaving on Saturday (May 22) and will be gone for about two months. moonwitche and queens_net and I are hanging out with her on Friday afternoon and I said I'd make some treats.
