I have a pound of 'em, and guests coming in from Maine in a few days, so I thought they might like something made with some real Maine cattle beans

if you have a dutch oven, crockpot, or big pot to make stew of any sort, there is no reason you can't make beans... could always make a chili style stew with chunks of steak and beans type of thing?
