I've been looking for more ideas for a gown I want to make and found this site. this link features garb that people have made and submitted. Some of it is fantasy but some of it is AMAZING. I was thinking, for the longest time when I was playing in Lionsdale, that it would be a great idea to have a kind of "catalogue" to show newbies pictures of people in different garb, so they could figure out what they liked, then the garb (ie 16th Century Irish, 6th Century Saxon, etc), and then contact info of the people in the photo who made the garb, who could then teach said newbie how to make it, where to look for links, etc.

But I never got around to doing that. :-(

That's a great idea! you should email the idea to someone in the Barony. I'm sure they could do it if you don't have the time. :)
