How could anybody possibly ever sleep in an mri scanner? I've never had one, I've just escorted people through them, and even that was disconcerting and noisy to the point of horrible.

hahahhahahahhahahaha!

Dude, I've only ever seen MRIs in fantasy TV land, and even those I couldn't have slept in. And I can fall asleep anywhere with anything going on. It's my super power, and a pretty lame one considering I now never get to use it, really. :/

In addition, another Nelson Ha-Ha! cuz of the year confusion. I am genuine old, and often think it's 1990-something. A few years ago, I accidentally wrote 1980-something on a form and had to go back and fix it. I have no clue what I was thinking there. I feel like a time traveler sometimes...

OMG, I've been in an MRI, how on EARTH is anyone supposed to sleep in that thing? It would be like being stuffed in a high school locker during an earthquake.

I fell asleep in one once, actually. When I got my concussion, I mistakenly thought the regular thing to do was to NOT SLEEP for 24 hrs lest I never wake again (that's old practice btw, new info revealed say rest is the best thing for a non-lethal concussion). I went and got the MRI to make sure my brainmeats weren't tainted forevermore, and passed out in the thing.

Which was no good, because you're supposed to lay perfectly still during the process and I'm a twitcher when I'm falling asleep. I kept getting scolded.
