I staggered up the stairs of a succulent courtyard as if I were irreversibly intoxicated. The luminescent sunbeams poured into my sun-sick eyes, which caused the rustling verdant leaves to subsist as an incessant shapeless blur. Damn woman! And you tell me you can't write. I swear, I think every time you say that, I'm going to point you to this. It is powerful and evocative, slow paced, yet moving quickly the introduction of the serpent. There is pain and apathy, a rolling mix of emotions that is mind-blowing.
