1. Dan in Real Life is my current go-to happy-making movie (and one of my very favorites). If you haven't seen it, what are you doing? No, really, go watch it now.

2. I love snow. Yes, I get it. I'm one of a very small number of crazy people who feel that way. I know. But I don't care. I love it. And I realized that I have NO snow-related LJ icons

I remember Nate and I catching Dan in Real Life on TV one Sunday night and, surprisingly, we forwent (is this a word?) Desperate Housewives to watch the rest of it.

And, snow is great when you don't go anywhere. However, having icy roads for 2-3 days after the snow that you have to travel on? Makes me want to scream.

It's a good movie. I own it and have probably seen it too many times by now, haha. But I don't know too many other people that have seen it.

And yes, I agree. The icy roads definitely suck. I would even rather drive through 6 inch deep snow ruts than the icy crap of the last few days. I feel like they've done an exceedingly lousy job at clearing the roads this time around, and sliding through intersections is getting old, for sure.
