so it's been a pretty uneventful three and a half days. tuesday was nice because "music of protest and politics of music", ending at 1:30, is my last class of the day, and afterward i went to lunch with three of the other girls in the class. it's crazy how much little things like being invited to lunch mean to me now. i have to figure out ( Read more... )

I agree (about the song)!

And yeah, I know what you mean about the postcards thing...I've bought everyone's birthday cards - well, those for people in the near future, up till about November - and I can't wait to send them! But then when I actually have to, it takes me a while to actually do it. And then after I do, certain people like Chris don't check their mail, so God only knows if he's gotten his birthday card yet. So yeah.

I also know what you mean about the whole being alone deal. I eat lunch/dinner on my own a lot, mostly because I'm too lazy to call people. But it's nice, I can get work done, or at least reading. :)

whew, i am so glad you said that because i really didn't want it to come off as a "boo-hoo, i'm a loner" thing. yeah, it's kinda cool, right?

Haha yeah it is. Especially with the whole roommate thing...I need my alone time so sometimes I have to go eat by myself. I do feel slightly loserish sometimes, but I mostly ignore that and concentrate on what I'm eating/reading. I like being alone, especially walking places...I put my iPod on and it's just cool to be able to think for a while.
