i adore this song. it's one of the only good joan baez songs that she actually wrote and not just covered. i think i might just like it because i don't care what she said in her autobiography, that it's about her husband or some lie like that--it's totally about her romance with bob dylan. and so by listening to the song, i can live ( Read more... )

i know, right? the only thing that made this whole thing more or less funny, depending on how you look at it, is that when we were over his apartment for shabbat over a month ago, he had introduced his children and listed all the accidents and hospital visits they had ALREADY experienced. it's awful that so many unlucky things have to happen to the same family.
