Am afraid it looks as though this weekend's Northern jaunt isn't going to happen; the person we usually stay with is having a particularly nasty and stressful time, and we are too short on money to get a hotel, even on a late deal. Plus we're heading for a hectic couple of weeks, and are both quite tired

Yes, I am disappointed we can't come but... will try and make it a longer trip in a month or so.
