FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The Forest Grove man and woman under investigation for an incident in which they tried to euthanize their dog with a hammer, were arrested on animal abuse charges Monday night.

Oh my god. I'm glad they were arrested, even though most likely they won't really be punnished.

its so disgusting i think if they didnt arrest them there woudl have been a mutiny but stil i think your right they wont get a good punishment

I'm basing that on those Animal Cops shows on Animal Planet. Even when they get arrested it's usually only a fine and they get any other pets taken away (ok that's good) but if these people can't afford a vet are they really going to pay a fine?!

I would just love to meet these two fools....Oh wait bad idea maybe not because I would be the one who ends up in jail from knocking them a few times in the head with a hammer and then digging their grave for them and see how they like it, that is the most terrible thing that I have ever heard....poor poor dog, I have seen abuse in animals from volunteering at an animal shelter for 5 years and it makes me sick how these people have no hearts and could do that to an innocent dog. I hope they get charged with every cent that they have, I would love them to go to jail but I know that's not going to happen, too bad.
