In order to start my holiday baking, I ordered a Kitchenaid stand mixer on amazon.com yesterday. I was super excited about it! Ask Dan or Mary Ann... it was going to be great. Wow that sucks. I had always heard good things about Amazon customer service. Of course that has been awhile back. I know the CEO is brilliant and I have always heard him speak highly of trying to have the best customer service. I wonder if they have there call centers outsourced. A lot of companies have level one that way. I know that has burned many a company too because of crappy customer service. Culturally they tend to be more abrasive in these nations with the Call centers (aka India).
