I've had days when it was really hard to practice, because all I wanted after finishing an audition was to take a break. What helped was going back and listening to multiple recordings of each of the pieces I'm playing and coming up with things I liked about how each performer interpreted different passages. This was my teacher's idea, and it worked. Hey, you don't know me but I know Charles from LARP -- I wondered if you're considering Yale? (Which is now free.) Good luck with everything!
