The reason I voted for Bush was because I didn't feel Kerry was qualified to be in the White House. If I were a terrorist, I'd rather see Kerry there instead of Bush, another reason I voted for him. I don't agree with a lot with Bush, but I don't agree a lot with Kerry. I really wasn't happy with our selection. Why'd you vote for Kerry?

I guess I can see where politics could be exciting. I'm surprised I'm a republican (and I use that term loosely) actually. I think my problem is that I grew up in a very strong republican house where every weekday morning I woke up to Rush Limbaugh. And I'm sure Rush is a nice guy and all, but republicans or liberals, I don't want to hear either one of them talk for 4 hours, ya know?

Oh hells bells, I can just go off on both sides for hours. That's funny, before reading your comment, I didn't think I had much of an opinion on the matter. Hats off to you. :)

I voted for kerry in the most extremely important lesser of two evils situation. i didn't want bush to take away the right to have abortions, i wanted to see more peaceful action and less jump to war, (by the way, you know bush admitted that his whole war in iraq wasn't needed right?), and less of the machismo "WE NEED TO KICK EVERYONE'S ASS" syndrome. I don't think Kerry is wonderful, in fact, he's much less than wonderful, but he's a helluva lot better than Bush who doesn't approve of homosexuality, (due to his religious choice) the right for women to choose, and jumps straight into war against innocent people.

Are you also not feminist if you're republican?

Sorry it took me awhile to respond. :)

Growing up, I would always hear my brother and dad go off on the title "feminist", so truthfully, I don't think of really good thoughts when I hear that term. Not trying to sound dippy, but how would you describe "feminist"?

I wished that instead of going to Iraq, we sent more troops to Afghanistan where I think we're needed. However, the shit that is done to innocent people over in Iraq, including women and children, is beyond monstrous. I do, unfortunately, think war was necessary over there to stop that.
