You don't HAVE to eat after working out. It really depends on how you feel. If you barf after you work out maybe you are working out a bit too hard? I've only felt like that if I pushed myself way too hard. I had this old roomate Kai - he was a German exchange student. He would puke after he worked out EVERYTIME. He'd work out 3x a day lifting weights like a maniac. Then I realized he was doing steroids. Big bulky upper body, chicken legs and a bad attitude.
Do you eat anything before working out? I would suggest eating a wee bit of food prior so you don't faint like the dainty demure lady you are. Or just drink some damn gatorade while you're working out.
