We've started a book club at work and this is the first book.  Since I took a 10+ hour train ride this weekend (both ways!), I clearly had time to finish it.  Let me say that I think that Jodi Picoult is a great writer but SHE PISSES ME OFF.  This story is great and really well-written UNTIL THE LAST

Yeah. She is very hit and miss with me. My Sister's Keeper was great until the end. I really liked 19 Minutes, though I guessed the end before it got there. The Pact was very meh, and I really didn't like Picture Perfect (I think? the one where the daughter is kidnapped by her father).

Her books start to feel very much the same after a time, as well. And sometimes she gets preachy in her desire to tackle Issues.
