Yeah, I actually liked the first part a lot, as in I found it really promising. Then it just never really went anywhere. The characters were all pretty whiny or unlikable. I was hoping for a big showdown at the end and then David just fucking DIED -- total copout on the author's part. I ended up watching the movie, which wasn't too bad.
