I'm building a new computer very soon, once I decide what parts I should get.
Tyler bought a new video card, look at the huge difference between my old screens (taken on my laptop) and these new screens, taken on Tylers computer:
800x600 for small resolutions )

wow

If you're going all out then you need the IWILL motherboard.

Dual video cards, 'nuff said.

Heh. My new MoBo supports SLI... although I've heard the performance boost isn't quite as good as one would hope. I'm going to double my ram before I look at buying another video card.

Biggest things you need to watch for on a Motherboard in my opinion, are of course what kind of processor it takes (repeat after me: dual-core pentiums are NOT for gaming), and whether the video card slots are PCI-Express. PCI-Express is teh r0x0r.

Depends on the video card, dual GeForce GTX's...what are they....7200(?) with a good processor can run FEAR at 128fps. That is pretty damn good.

Overkill though, you don't need that much power unless you plan on spinning the Earth backwards to go back in time.

Lemme know when you start seriously looking into parts and such for your new comp. I'm pretty damned thrilled with my new one, and might be able to give you some tips on what to get/what to avoid.
