Wooo chicks!

3 chicks have hatched so far -we're expecting more. They're so cute, little balls of black and yellow! Very very excited! Want to name one of them after me but mum wants to hold off as we'll eat them if they're boys - good point -don't want anyone to eat SarahTheChicken(tm) lol. Pic below -no idea how to do a cut -sorry!

Not as far as I know, won't see them till next week as they are at my other house! Been sent pics and my (step)mum (sorry that wasn't clear in prev) has been texting me the progress. App Clover (one of our hens) has been laying and sitting on more eggs so we're expecting really staggered hatchings!

Aww, poor things! My friend Karin's family used to have sheep and they had a few of their lambs in the freezer ready for consumption at all times too. Their sheep all had names too which made things a bit complicated since they then knew 'who' they were eating.
