I found out today that the morning my dad died he sent a text out to the people he worked with saying that he wasn't feeling well and would be late. This was at 9:30 in the morning. About an hour later I found him

Most people know somethings up, especially when they ask a friend to take care of your mom, but it just means he loved her and you guys and wanted to make sure someone was there to look after you all.
And please don't feel like its your fault. You did all you could when you found him. If you keep researching and thinking there was probably more you could have done - you will drive yourself crazy (more than you already are :P )
